The short version: we keep what AskBoard needs to work for you, your question goes to the AI models that answer and check it, you control what AskBoard and Gigi remember, and we never sell your information or track you for advertising.
1. Who we are
AskBoard.ai is operated by Zero Point Collective LLC, a Texas limited liability company based in Bee Cave, Texas ("we," "us"). We decide how your information is used and are responsible for it. This policy covers askboard.ai and everything provided through it.
2. What we collect
What you give us
- Questions and conversations. Your questions, messages to the AskBoard voice, the Board and Gigi, anything you attach, and context you add during a session.
- Voice. When you use Talk, your speech is converted to text so the AskBoard voice can answer, and its reply is converted back to speech. We keep the text of the conversation, not a recording of your voice.
- Account details. Your email address, the name you choose to give (optional), and your About you notes.
- Things you ask AskBoard to make. Your instructions and the images, songs and videos made for you.
- Messages to us. What you send to support, and your email address.
What we create while you use AskBoard
- Reports and session records. The Board's report, and a record of the session (your question and what each model said).
- What AskBoard remembers. If you have an account and memory is on: a few lines it picks up about you (such as your work, goals and how you like answers) and a short summary card for saved conversations. It is designed not to keep passwords, payment card, bank or government ID numbers, or your street address.
- Plan and usage. Your plan, its status and renewal date, sessions you hold, Talk minutes used and items made this month, and the list of questions you asked the Board while signed in.
- Purchases. For a plan, that it belongs to your account. For a single session bought without an account, only that it was paid for.
What we collect automatically
- A browser identifier. A random identifier stored in your browser to remember what you paid for and keep you signed in. It is not linked to your name unless you sign in.
- Network address. Your IP address, used briefly to stop abuse. To keep the free first answer to one per person, we keep a one-way code made from it for one day; it cannot be turned back into your address.
- Basic logs. Standard technical logs (such as time, page, error and device type) kept by our hosting providers to run and secure the Service.
We receive payment card details only through Stripe's form; your full card number never reaches us.
3. How we use it
- To answer your questions, run Board sessions, check facts, make what you ask for, and keep your history, reports and downloads available to you.
- To let AskBoard remember you across conversations, if you leave memory on.
- To manage your account, plan and allowances, and process payments and refunds.
- To send sign-in codes, receipts, renewal and price-change notices, and replies to your messages. No marketing email unless you ask for it.
- To find and fix where the Service got things wrong. We read session records for this. This is the only way session content is used to improve AskBoard.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, keep the Service secure, enforce our Terms, and meet legal obligations.
We do not use your information for targeted advertising, we do not build profiles of you for anyone else, and we do not make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects by automated means.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on these legal bases: performing our contract with you (running the Service and billing); our legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, fixing errors); your consent (AskBoard's memory, which you can turn off at any time); and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).
4. Who receives it
The AI models that answer and check your question. To answer you, your question and the context needed to answer it are sent to AI model providers. On the Board, every seat receives the question and your earlier messages in the chat that led to it; after each seat has answered on its own, the seats also receive what you wrote in About you, so the answer fits you. The AskBoard voice's messages also go to the model that fact-checks it, which may run web searches using parts of your question. Providers handle what they receive under their own terms, and we send it only to answer you; we do not use your content to train models of our own. Where our routing service lets us choose, we send your question only to providers that do not keep it or train on it. Providers may keep content for a limited period to detect abuse and meet legal obligations. The Schedule at the end of this policy lists them.
Gigi. Gigi, a host on AskBoard, works the same way as the AskBoard voice: the same kinds of AI models answer and check her replies, and with an account your conversations with her are saved, remembered and deleted exactly like your conversations with the AskBoard voice.
Service providers. Companies that host our servers and database, store reports and media, convert speech to text and text to speech, run live audio calls, route requests to AI model providers, turn memory cards into search data (without training on them), send email, and process payments (Stripe). They use your information to provide their service to us. Some, including the services that turn text to speech, may also keep what they receive and use it to improve their own products, under their own terms.
ASKBOARD FM on GodTone FM. If you choose to publish a song made for you, the song, its title and its lyrics go to ASKBOARD FM, the AskBoard channel of GodTone FM, our sister station also operated by Zero Point Collective LLC. Your question and your identity are never sent with it.
Legal and safety. When the law requires it, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is needed to protect someone's safety, to stop fraud or abuse, or to defend our rights.
A business transfer. If AskBoard is sold or merged, your information may pass to the new owner, who must honor this policy.
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Where your information is processed
We are based in the United States and our main systems run there. Some AI model providers process requests in other countries, including member states of the European Union. We route the DeepSeek and Qwen seats only to servers in the United States: DeepSeek's own service is not used, and Qwen runs in its maker's United States region.
Where the law requires a transfer mechanism for information leaving the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard. If you would rather your question not reach a particular provider, do not use the Board for it, or contact us before you do.
6. Share links and reports
Each report has a private link that is long and random. Anyone who has the link can open the report, so share it only with people you want to read it. You can ask us to delete a report at any time.
7. How long we keep it
| Information | Kept |
|---|---|
| Conversations with AskBoard and Gigi | Until you delete them or your account |
| What AskBoard and Gigi remember | Until you change, pause or erase it, or delete your account |
| Reports and session records | Until you ask us to delete them. Deleting your account removes them from your account; to remove the reports themselves, ask us |
| Account and plan details | While your account is open |
| Made images, songs and videos | Until you delete them or your account |
| One-way code from your network address | One day |
| One-way code made from your email address, so the free Quick Round is claimed once | Kept after you delete your account; it cannot be turned back into your email |
| Payment and tax records | As long as tax and accounting law requires, usually seven years |
| Backups | Overwritten on a rolling cycle after deletion |
8. Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can:
- see, change, pause or erase what AskBoard remembers, from your account page;
- delete any conversation, or your whole account (type DELETE and confirm from the email we send);
- ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by writing to support@askboard.ai; and
- opt out of marketing email (we send none unless you ask).
To protect you, we confirm requests through your account email. For a report bought without an account, the report link proves it is yours; if you no longer have it, tell us roughly when you asked and a line of your question and we will find it. We answer within 30 days, or 45 days where your state's law allows.
US state rights. Depending on where you live (including California, Texas, Colorado, Virginia and other states with privacy laws), you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete and port your information, and to opt out of sale, targeted advertising and profiling. We do none of those last three. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our decision; we will answer the appeal within 45 days and, if we still decline, tell you how to contact your state attorney general. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.
EEA, UK and Swiss rights. You may also object to or restrict our processing, withdraw consent at any time, and complain to your local data protection authority.
Browser signals. We do not track you across sites, so there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. We honor them anyway as an opt-out of any sale or sharing.
9. Cookies
We use only cookies and browser storage the Service needs to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering what you paid for. We run no advertising, analytics or retargeting trackers, which is why there is no cookie banner.
One exception tells us which of our links brought you here. When you arrive from a link carrying a short tag, such as askboard.ai/?s=ig, we keep that tag in two first-party cookies for 90 days: the first tag you arrived with, and the most recent one. They hold only the tag, never your name, email or address. If you create an account, the tag is saved with it, and it is noted on purchases you make through our payment processor. We use it only to see which of our posts and pages bring people to AskBoard, and we never sell it or share it with advertisers.
10. Sensitive information
You decide what to tell AskBoard. If you share sensitive information (such as about your health, finances or beliefs) in a question, it is used only to answer you and is sent to the providers that do so. Please avoid sharing other people's personal information.
11. Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit, encryption of saved conversations at rest, sign-in by one-time email code instead of passwords, access limited to the people who run the Service, and providers held to security obligations. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
12. Age
AskBoard is for adults 18 and older and is not directed to anyone younger. If we learn that someone under 18 has an account, we will close it and delete their information. If you believe a minor is using AskBoard, write to support@askboard.ai.
13. Changes
We will update the date at the top when this policy changes, and email account holders before changes that materially affect how we use their information.
