Terms

Last updated 21 October 2026

Please read section 19. It requires most disputes to be resolved by individual arbitration, not in court or as part of a class action, and explains how to opt out within 30 days.

1. Who we are

AskBoard.ai is operated by Zero Point Collective LLC, a Texas limited liability company based in Bee Cave, Texas, doing business as AskBoard.ai ("AskBoard," "we," "us"). These Terms are a binding agreement between you and us. They cover askboard.ai, its pages and features, and everything we provide through them (the "Service"). Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and forms part of these Terms.

By using the Service, creating an account or paying for anything, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who can use AskBoard

You must be at least 18 years old. The Service is built for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.

An account is for one person. Keep the email address on your account current and keep your sign-in codes to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. If you use the Service for a business, you confirm you can bind that business, and "you" includes it.

3. What the Service is

The AskBoard voice is an AI assistant. You can type or talk to it. A second AI model from a different company checks factual claims in its answers, and a Skeptic flags assumptions that could change an answer.

The Board is a panel of AI models from different companies. In a Quick Round session the models answer your question independently and the two that disagree most make their case, with a short written result. In a Roundtable session the models answer independently, the two that disagree most argue it out while the others observe and comment, the AskBoard voice chairs, you can join in, and you receive a written report.

Make lets you ask AskBoard for images, songs and short videos, within the limits of your plan.

Gigi is a host on AskBoard. She works the same way as the AskBoard voice, in her own voice and manner.

Answers are public pages of Roundtable sessions run and published by AskBoard itself. Your sessions are never published as Answers.

Every voice, character and seat on AskBoard is an AI. None of them is a human being.

4. AI output is not professional advice

Output from the Service is generated by AI models. It can be incomplete, out of date, biased or simply wrong, and several models can be wrong together. A fact-check, or the Board arguing it out, reduces errors; it does not remove them. Verify anything you plan to act on.

The Service does not provide medical, mental health, legal, tax, accounting, investment or other professional advice, and no one on AskBoard is licensed to give it. Questions about investments, crypto assets, securities or markets are answered as research and discussion only. Nothing on AskBoard is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Decisions you make are yours.

The Service is not for emergencies. If you or someone else is in danger, contact local emergency services. In the United States you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at any hour.

5. The AI models and providers behind AskBoard

AskBoard sends your questions to AI models run by independent companies ("Providers"), and uses other service providers for things like voice, search, hosting and payment. The Privacy Policy describes them. We choose and change models and Providers at our discretion, and a seat may be served by a different model version over time.

Model and company names shown on AskBoard identify which model is speaking. They are trademarks of their owners. No Provider sponsors, endorses or is affiliated with AskBoard, and AskBoard is not affiliated with them except as their customer.

You agree to use the Service in line with the acceptable use rules in section 9, which reflect the usage policies our Providers apply to everything sent to them, and not to use it in any way those Providers' own usage policies forbid. Some Meta Llama models are used in the Service: Built with Llama.

6. Your content

"Your Content" means what you put into the Service: questions, messages, voice, files, context and instructions. You keep ownership of Your Content.

You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, transmit and display Your Content, and to send it to Providers, only as needed to run the Service for you, keep it secure, meet legal obligations, and review sessions to find and fix where the Service went wrong. This license ends when Your Content is deleted, except for copies in routine backups until they expire and anything we must keep by law.

We do not sell Your Content and do not use it to train our own models. Providers handle what they receive under their own terms; we send it to them only to run the Service for you.

You confirm you have the rights to everything you submit, and that submitting it does not break any law or anyone's rights, including privacy and confidentiality.

7. What the Service makes for you

"Output" means what the Service generates for you: answers, reports, lyrics, songs, images and videos. As between you and us, Output is yours. We assign to you whatever rights we hold in it, and you may use it for any lawful purpose, including commercially, with nothing further owed to us.

Please understand three things about Output:

  • Other people may receive the same or similar Output, and our Providers reserve the right to generate it for others.
  • In many countries, including the United States, AI-generated material may not be protected by copyright, so you may be unable to stop others from using it.
  • We do not promise that Output is original, accurate, or free of anyone else's rights. You are responsible for how you use and share it.

We keep a copy of reports and made items so your links and downloads keep working, as the Privacy Policy describes.

8. Publishing a song to GodTone

If you choose to publish a song made for you to ASKBOARD FM, the AskBoard channel of GodTone FM (godtone.fm), our sister station operated by Zero Point Collective LLC, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to stream, display and distribute that song, its title and its lyrics on GodTone and its channels. Your question is never published with it and nothing on GodTone identifies you as the person who asked. You can ask us to remove a published song at any time and we will take it down within a reasonable time.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • break any law, or plan, promote or help anyone break one;
  • harm, threaten, harass, defraud or impersonate anyone, or create content that sexualizes minors;
  • seek help with weapons capable of mass harm, malware, or attacks on computer systems;
  • submit another person's private information without a lawful right to do so;
  • generate sexually explicit content, or content depicting a real person without their consent;
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property or other rights;
  • make decisions about other people's employment, credit, housing, insurance, education or legal status without independent human review;
  • probe, scrape, overload or reverse engineer the Service, get around its limits or safety measures, or access it by automated means except as we permit;
  • resell, share or sublicense access, or use the Service or its Output to build a competing AI product or train AI models; or
  • present Output as human-written where that would mislead someone in a way that harms them.

The Service keeps to a PG-13 standard and may decline requests. We may remove content and suspend access that breaks these rules.

10. Prices, plans and payment

Prices. The price of every plan, session and add-on is shown on our pricing page and again before you pay. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes, which we add where required.

Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number.

Pay as you ask. A Quick Round or Roundtable session bought on its own is a one-time charge for one session.

Monthly plans renew automatically. When you start a plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method the plan price on the day you start and on the same date each month after that, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, online, from your account page. Cancelling stops the next charge; your plan keeps working until the end of the month you have paid for. We will email you a confirmation when you subscribe and when you cancel.

Yearly plans renew automatically on the same date each year. Allowances reset every month. Cancel anytime and your plan runs to the end of the year you paid for. The seven-day refund applies to yearly plans too.

Allowances. A plan's monthly allowances (such as Talk time, Quick Round and Roundtable sessions, images, songs and videos) reset at each renewal and do not carry over. Talk time is the length of your calls with the AskBoard voice, including any Board session on a call. An item that fails to start is not counted.

Top-ups and extras. Top-ups are one-time purchases. They never expire, carry into later months, and are used after your plan's own monthly allowance. Extra items beyond an allowance are charged at the price shown before you confirm.

Changing plans. An upgrade takes effect immediately and we refund the unused part of your old plan to your card. To move to a smaller plan, cancel your current one from your account page; it keeps working until the end of the month you have paid for, and you can then start the smaller plan.

Price changes. We will email you at least 7 and no more than 30 days before a plan price changes. A change applies from your next renewal after that notice, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Free use. A free account includes a limited number of typed questions to the AskBoard voice each day. Your first Quick Round session runs free; its full report unlocks with your first paid purchase while signed in. We may change or end free features at any time.

Earlier purchases. Session credits bought before plans existed stay in your account and do not expire.

11. Refunds

You can ask for a full refund of any purchase within seven days of paying for it, for any reason. Write to support@askboard.ai from your account email or with your report link.

Nothing in this section limits rights you have under the law where you live.

12. Fair use and limits

Typed questions on a plan are for one person's ordinary use. We may slow, pause or limit use that looks automated, shared or abusive, and we may set reasonable limits to protect the Service for everyone. We will tell you if we do.

13. Availability and changes

The Service depends on Providers we do not control. We do not promise it will be available at any particular time or that any model, feature or seat will remain. We may change, add or remove features. If we stop offering a paid feature you have prepaid for, we will refund the unused part.

14. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account page.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if we must for legal reasons, or if your use creates risk for us, our Providers or other users. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. If we close your account without cause, we will refund any prepaid amount for service not yet provided.

Sections 6 (the license ends as stated), 7, 15 through 23, and any payment owed survive the end of these Terms.

15. Our property

AskBoard, its software, design, names, logos, the Board format, the AskBoard voice and the Gigi character and their voices and likenesses belong to Zero Point Collective LLC or its licensors. These Terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service as offered. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely without owing you anything.

16. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTS, OUTPUT OR AVAILABILITY OF PROVIDERS. YOU RELY ON OUTPUT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

17. Limit of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS: (A) WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OPPORTUNITY OR GOODWILL, INCLUDING LOSSES FROM DECISIONS MADE USING OUTPUT; AND (B) OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR US $100.

These limits apply whatever the legal theory and even if we were told the loss was possible. They do not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or gross negligence where that rule applies. Some places do not allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.

18. Indemnity

If a third party brings a claim against us arising from Your Content, your use of Output, or your breach of these Terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, including reasonable legal fees. We will tell you about the claim promptly and let you take part in the defense.

19. Disputes and arbitration

Talk to us first. Before starting any claim, email support@askboard.ai with your name, contact details, a description of the problem and what you want. We will try to resolve it within 60 days. Neither side may start arbitration or a lawsuit until those 60 days pass.

Binding individual arbitration. If we cannot resolve it, you and we agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be decided by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. Arbitration may be held by video or in Travis County, Texas, or in the county where you live if you prefer. For claims under US $10,000 we will pay the AAA filing, administration and arbitrator fees, unless the arbitrator finds the claim frivolous.

Exceptions. Either side may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies. Either side may go to court to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property or the Service.

No class actions. Claims may be brought only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not combine claims of different people without everyone's agreement. If 25 or more similar demands are filed by or with the help of the same counsel, they will be administered in batches of 25 under the AAA's mass arbitration procedures.

Jury waiver. For any dispute that goes to court instead of arbitration, you and we waive a jury trial.

Opting out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@askboard.ai with the subject "Arbitration opt-out" and your account email within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Opting out does not affect anything else in these Terms.

If the class action waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim will go to court and not arbitration.

20. Governing law and courts

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any matter not subject to arbitration will be heard only in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and both sides consent to their jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer protections of the place where you live still apply to you.

21. Copyright complaints

If you believe material on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice with the information required by 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3) to our designated agent: Copyright Agent, Zero Point Collective LLC, 13404 Galleria Circle, Bee Cave, Texas 78738, or support@askboard.ai with "Copyright" in the subject. We will remove infringing material and close the accounts of repeat infringers where appropriate.

22. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top and, for changes that materially affect your rights, email account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Changes do not apply to disputes already raised. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, the new Terms apply; if you do not agree, cancel and stop using the Service.

23. Everything else

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them to an affiliate or a successor to our business. We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages at Providers. You agree to receive notices from us by email and on the Service. You may not use the Service where US law prohibits it, or if you are on a US government restricted-party list.
